Ancaster is home turf: the showroom sits in the Meadowlands and many of our installs are within a few kilometres, on everything from village lots along Wilson Street to estate properties on the side roads.
Ancaster housing splits between the old village core and the subdivisions that grew around the Meadowlands and out toward the Sulphur Springs side roads. Village lots have mature trees and older detached garages, so we scout the side yard before quoting and occasionally bring a crane. The newer streets have flat rear yards and a gate wide enough for a dolly, and the panel is usually in the basement close to the back wall. Estate lots on the west side often have room for a Serenity cedar sauna beside the tub and a longer electrical run.
Buyers here are established: hospital physicians and administrators, McMaster faculty, retirees who traded a Toronto house for a bungalow near the golf course, and families who host. The J-400 series is the volume seller, with the J-445 at $27,895 and J-485 at $30,795 the usual shortlist, and the eight-seat J-509 at $39,595 goes to the larger properties. Ancaster sits on top of the escarpment, so plan for wind and a bit more snow than Dundas below.
